Your Home in the Northwoods
Your complete comfort is our goal at LaTourell's. After a day spent out on the water, you will find yourself relaxing in your cabin watching the beautiful evening sunsets while listening to the loons sing.
Our Cabins
All of the cabins overlook Moose Lake. They are modern and completely furnished and equipped with air conditioning. They have full kitchens with all the necessary appliances (refrigerator, range stove, microwave, toaster, and drip coffee maker); as well as utensils, modern bathrooms with showers, and comfortable bedrooms with all bedding and linen provided (except personal bath and kitchen towels). Also, either a charcoal or gas grill is located outside each cabin. All cabins are smoke free. WiFi is available at the main office/lodge for your convenience.

(Note: We ask that you please respect this policy and do not arrive early. Check in times allow for preparing the cabin, equipment, & property for your arrival which is very important to us.)
Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA)
Please note that we are on the edge of a designated wilderness area where special regulations apply which are regulated by the United States Forest Service (USFS).
Three of the main regulations are:
Day use permits are required for access into the BWCA. Please contact us for details.
(These permits are $6/permit and we are able to issue available permits as we are a cooperator with the USFS.)
Our lakes have a 25hp motor limit
NO metal cans or glass bottles are allowed on the lakes (plastic is OK.)
Fishing Gear & Equipment suggestions
Light-medium action rods equipped with 6-12 lb.test line (bass & walleye)
Medium-heavy gear with 10-20 lb.test line (northern pike)
Jigs, hooks, and spinner harnesses (live bait fishing)
Topwater baits, crank baits, spoons, and spinners (artificials)
Clothing: Include both warm and cool weather gear as well as quality rain gear (Tops & Bottoms)

Dog Policy
We encourage you to leave your dog at home, however dogs are allowed in some cabins upon approval. We reserve the right to ask you to kennel your pet at a local kennel if our criteria for pet behavior is not met during your stay. Pets are not allowed to be left unattended in cabins at any time or on furniture.
*Note: | 1) Some cabins are dog free with NO exceptions. No other pet types are allowed. |
2) We reserve the right to charge an additional $100 for excessive dog hair. | |
3) Only ONE dog per cabin allowed in cabins which allow a dog. |
Pet Fees are: $40/day or $175/week per pet.
